In the last election, Johnson was poopooed in the press and received very little publicity in the news outlets. He was a bad candidate, but he still should have been treated better in the press.
StoneTools - April 26, 2013, 9:12 am
We also need public vetting of candidates with truthful, unbiased reporting. Biased reporting contributes heavily to having morons in government. It's also the biggest impediment to getting a good 3rd party candidate for any office.
Renza - April 26, 2013, 8:51 am
...Though pushing a full on budget through with executive order couldn't... well, probably wouldn't be any worse than the ridiculous we have going on currently. We really need to find a way to implement term limits on congress...
Renza - April 26, 2013, 8:48 am
Yeah, unfortunately congress is probably more corrupt than even cynics think, and yeah, I'm not saying the president is powerless, I'm just saying he does have limited power, most presidents seem to try to limit how often executive order is used...
StoneTools - April 26, 2013, 8:41 am
I don't think congress is capable of fixing the economy. They are led around by the nose by lobbyists and partisan bickering. Both parties live by the "My way or the highway" mantra and will not compromise.
StoneTools - April 26, 2013, 8:39 am
you also have presidents who will only enforce the parts of laws that they agree with. They do control the justice department, military, and intelligence agencies.
StoneTools - April 26, 2013, 8:37 am
I think you are forgetting about executive orders which are used and abused by presidents to bypass a congress that doesn't toe the line that the president draws.
Renza - April 26, 2013, 8:33 am
If conservatives would actually quit fighting every single attempt taken to try to fix the economy, we probably would be showing much more success by now, but like children, that probably wont happen until they get their way and have a rep in office.
Renza - April 26, 2013, 8:29 am
If you're worried about your kids future, I'd be much more concerned with the broken and divisive partisan politics that are going on rather than just one guy who has limited power.
Renza - April 26, 2013, 8:24 am
See, citing facts/sources can offer much more legitimacy to arguments. Though at least one or two of those looked kinda biased. I'll also point out that congress has to approve budgets, the president only gets a say if they work with him.
WTFO - April 26, 2013, 1:20 am
One more thing. I am in no way "angry". I'm concerned that this President is driving my nation into the ground financially. I'm concerned that my kids will suffer from the policies of this inexperienced, visceral, lying community organizer.

rebeccaolsen - May 11, 2015, 6:15 am
If you truly believed “contextomy” is a sin (i.e. intentionally taking words out-of-context to fallaciously DECEIVE others) then why did YOU DECEIVE your audience by withholding from them the quote-in-its-entirety if you think the quote speaks for itself?

"Each of us have a mother and a father and there's no way to get around that." Ironically,w/the rest of that quote,an intelligent person would think your poster's making fun of Flores's "contextomy" of taking the riots out of context to rail on g.ays(3/3)

It’s not just not credible, plausible, you knew this quote was fake when you made 66156 By pretending to clarify your poster with this meme, you only cast more light on your mistake - i.e. you can’t parody Trump as a FOOL if he didnt say that fake quote

You then mock his supporters, saying,“He speaks his mind, but are you listening?”implying what Trump supporters like about him is that he"speaks his mind”but if they actually “listened”to what he was “speaking”[everything he said],they wouldn’t like him

in 66156, it couldn't be more obvious what you intended/implied: You listed a Trump quote where he makes fun of his fellow Republicans and then you tag it "RINOld Trump", suggesting he’s a fake Republican for saying that.

Even the redherring you offer 2 bolster your spin, about the link you allegedly got this from,is negated by the fact that in the corner of the meme it clearly says the source“Rude & Rotten Repubs”.You even covered it up with the"fake"tag. No surprise there

seriously, bro.you might’ve salvaged your dignity if just admitted you made a mistake. no one is perfect. You even insecurely made another meme to correct the flaws of 66156.Because normal people go through all this trouble to explain themselves, right?ROFL

this is consciously or subconsciously a mea culpa of 66156 where you got fooled by a fake Trump quote and because you thought he actually said it, then accused him of being a RINO over it
